Best Retirement Adviser – the results!

Earlier in the summer we wrote about how Informed Choice was proud to be a finalist for Best Retirement Adviser at the Investment Life & Pensions Moneyfacts Awards 2014.

Well, the Investment Life & Pensions Moneyfacts Awards took place at a gala dinner at the Lancaster London Hotel yesterday evening.

Shelley headed into London, representing the team and looking forward to an evening of entertainment in the company of impressionist Jon Culshaw.

Unfortunately, Informed Choice was not named winner of Best Retirement Adviser on this occasion.

The gong went to our friends at Bloomsbury Wealth in London and the excellent team at Almary Green in Norfolk were Highly Commended.

It is always a pleasure to be named a finalist for such a prestigious award, especially when the competition consists of much larger firms than our own.

We now look forward to the results of the Chartered Financial Planner of the Year Awards where our colleague Mary Waring has reached the shortlist stage and hopes to be selected for interview by a panel of experts next month, who will decide the winner.
