Going mobile

Our website visitors increasingly access our site using the mobile Internet browsers on their smartphones.

Around 15% of all Internet traffic comes from these smartphone mobile browsers.

Over the past few months we have been working with the team at Intelligent Mobile to create a version of our website specifically designed for these mobile browsers.

The result is now live at m.icl-ifa.co.uk.

In addition to providing some of the core content and functionality of our main website, the new mobile website contains an exciting new feature.

If you text informed to 84840, the system replies automatically with details of your nearest Informed Choice Financial Planner.

The text message reply contains their phone number, email address and a link to their profile page on the mobile website.

This technology uses the GPS in your smartphone and an online mapping system to locate the nearest Financial Planner by postcode.

Regular visitors to our website will now find it easier to keep up to date with our latest blog entries which can be found using the blog tab on the new site.

Informed Choice is the first firm of Chartered Financial Planners to launch a bespoke mobile website and make use of this location-based SMS function.
