Informed Choice is 19 today!!

Today represents a major milestone for Informed Choice as we celebrate our 19th birthday!

News Release – Informed Choice celebrates 19 years of independent financial advice

Informed Choice began life in July 1994 when executive director Nick Bamford realised his vision to create an IFA firm which would deliver an excellent service to its clients, deliver professional advice and charge fairly.

Back in 1994, the Channel Tunnel was officially opened, Wet Wet Wet’s cover of the song Love is All Around was in the UK Singles Chart for a record 15 weeks and Tony Blair won the Labour Party leadership election.

Notable births that year included Olympic diver Tom Daley, tennis player Laura Robson and performer Harry Styles member of One Direction.

Clearly a lot has happened since then, and the world of retail financial services has been especially busy.

During the past twelve months we have experienced the implementation of the Retail Distribution Review and launched our own direct to consumer service at IC Direct.

As has always been the case, we continue to focus our attention on providing an excellent service to our clients.

The last 19 years have provided so many changes to the world of retail financial services and we are very proud of our team who have consistently worked hard to embrace these developments and respond with innovations which benefit our clients.

We look forward to celebrating our 20th birthday in 2014 and responding positively to all of the change that the future brings.
