Introducing our new Retirement Income Planning Director

We’re very pleased to announce the appointment of Philip Wise as Retirement Income Planning Director at Informed Choice.

Philip joins Informed Choice from Skerritts in Brighton, where he was Head of Retirement Income. Prior to joining Skerritts, he was Managing Director at Spofforths Financial Planning for 17 years.

He has more than 25 years’ experience providing financial planning and advice, with a focus on managing income withdrawals for clients in retirement. He is a Chartered Financial Planner and CFP professional.

Philip will be working from our recently opened Petersfield office, alongside our Financial Planning Director Shelley McCarthy, and providing advice to clients across Hampshire and the South East.

I’ve known Philip for many years and, even though we were running separate businesses, we would regularly share best practice together. I have thought for a long time that he would be a great fit for Informed Choice.

Philip has high professional standards coupled with a down-to-earth approach to client communication. He shares our values which is very important.

We are delighted he has accepted our offer to become a director at Informed Choice and he will have a very important role to play as we move the business into its next phase of development.
