Informed Choice chartered financial planner Martin Bamford was a guest on BBC Radio 4’s Money Box at lunchtime today.

Martin was interviewed by Paul Lewis, discussing options for a 55 year old listener who wanted to access the tax-free cash from his two pension funds without buying an annuity.

He explained the option of using Unsecured Pension before discussing the possibility of recycling an income payments as new pension contributions.

This was the first time Martin has been a guest on Money Box, having previously appeared on LBC Radio in London and also on several BBC local radio shows.

If you missed the show at lunchtime today, you can listen to it again at www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/console/b012f5qq (the segment starts at 13 minutes 30 seconds) or listen again when Money Box is repeated on Radio 4 at 9pm on Sunday 10th July.
